Questions
& answers
-
Where will the ceremony and reception be held? All events will be centered at Villa MontBel, located in Marrakech in Morocco. It is located about 20 min drive from the Menara Marrakech Airport.
-
Where should I stay?We have done our best to reserve accommodation close to our house. Several options are available. We have provided a list on our Accommodation page, were you can select and view details. Depending on your length of stay, you may prefer to stay close to the house or make your own arrangements. Let us know in your RSVP if you would like assistance - which we are happy to provide.
-
How do I get there? Would there be Parking? In most cases, we will try to meet you at the airport with a driver. Be sure to send us your flights details so we can coordinate arrangements. Failing this, its easy to find your way to the house, through the following options: Taxi: Only the “Big Taxi” (van taxi car) will go to our villa. Normal cars/small taxi only are allowed within the city center. Always ask the price first. Try to negotiate the price if the price is higher than the following: From the Airport (about 200 dh, +50% after 9pm) From the Medina (about 250dh) Car rental: carjet.com seems incredibly reliable to find good value. Parking at the villa: We have space for approximately 30 cars.
-
What time should I arrive?Doors will open at 5:00 pm, and we ask guest to be there at 5:30 pm, for the ceremony at 6:00 pm. This will allow you plenty of time to park, grab a refreshment and find a seat!
-
What should I wear?We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail or formal attire for our wedding. Morocco in July does not get cold after sunset, as coastal cities can. The weather will stay warm throughout the nights. Brink your swimsuits, not your scarves.
-
Can I bring a guest or date or a friend? If you received a plus one or your guest’s name is listed on your invitation, then yes! If you plan to surprise us, bring an extra chair and a sandwich. Otherwise send a message ;-)
-
Are children invited?Kids are welcome to the wedding. Cocktail hour would be a good time to put little babies to sleep. We will organise a little kindergarten with baby and kids beds at the venue so parents can fully enjoy the wedding night. Each babysitter will be able to contact you on WhatsApp to keep you up to date with your little ones.
-
Will there be an open bar?YES! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you…. Get ready to party!
-
